Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. seeks a seasoned sales lead to drive revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction across the WA region. You will collaborate with other departments to expand product lines and strengthen our market presence.

The role requires at least 5 years in produce sales, a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, and strong Excel/Office skills. Travel and relationship-building with major retailers and distributors are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience across large retailers, wholesalers, food service, and cash customers.
• Knowledge of logistics within the produce industry and ability to grow a business.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic sales plans, budgets and revenue objectives to meet targets.
• Forecast future demand, volume and revenue projections for compliance with objectives.
• Expand sales by building and maintaining relationships with customers regionally.
• Address and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiate pricing, manage accounts receivable and review portfolio performance.
• Manage order entry systems, allocate products and handle changes.
• Conduct weekly market checks and report profitability; work on special projects.
