Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Operations Controller for the Regional Planning & Forecasting function. You will lead planning, forecasting, and performance management for a defined geographic region and partner with regional leaders to drive financial and operational excellence.

This role emphasizes close collaboration with operations and business segments, scenario modeling, and actionable insights to improve accuracy, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or controllership experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner with cross functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem solving skills with proficiency in ERP, Excel, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long range financial projections for the assigned region.
• Partner with regional leadership to translate operational drivers into accurate financial forecasts and business plans.
• Oversee month end close activities, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and compliance with accounting policies.
• Monitor performance against plan, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve business results.
• Serve as the primary financial liaison between regional operations and business segment leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling, investment analysis, and resource allocation recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational performance processes.
