Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Operations Controller – Regional Planning & Forecasting to lead annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial projections for a defined geographic region.

You will partner with regional leaders to translate operational drivers into forecasts, oversee month‑end close, KPI tracking, and provide actionable insights to improve financial accuracy and business performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
5–8+ years of FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or controllership experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections for the assigned region.
Partner with regional leadership to translate operational drivers into accurate financial forecasts and business plans.
Oversee month-end close activities, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and compliance with accounting policies.
Monitor performance against plan, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve results.
Serve as the primary financial liaison between regional operations and business segment leadership.
Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling and investment analysis.
