Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) seeks a Regional Community Forensic Liaison to oversee community-based care for individuals under Chapter 916. You will train on forensic practices, support diversion efforts, and coordinate transitions between community and state facilities.

The role requires leadership, data analysis, and collaboration with courts, prosecutors, and providers across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or criminal justice preferred; four years of criminal justice experience.
• Master's degree can substitute for one year of experience.
• Professional experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilités

• Provide regional oversight of the community-based system of care for individuals implicated under Chapter 916.
• Deliver training on forensic statutes and practices; promote evidence-based services.
• Lead diversion opportunities, continuity of care, and coordination with courts and facilities.
• Develop statewide and regional forensic policies and supervise CFL staff as needed.
• Collect, analyze data, and prepare reports for leadership.
