Job summary

HOPE Program seeks a Clinical Director to lead forensic mental health services across multiple California clinics. The role requires expert clinical knowledge, strong administrative skills, and experience with sex offender and justice-involved populations.

You will ensure compliance with CASOMB, BBS/BOP, and contractual obligations while guiding high-performing teams. The position involves regional oversight, staff supervision, and ongoing training/consultation.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field.
• Licensed in California with BBS (LCSW, MFT, LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Ph.D/PsyD).
• Minimum 8 years of clinical experience; 6+ years administrative/management experience.
• Experience providing board-level supervision and CASOMB supervision (or eligible).
• Proficient in CBT, Risk-Need-Responsivity principles, and sex offender-specific curriculum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinical service delivery for forensic populations.
• Maintain active clinical and supervision caseloads (30–50% clinical focus).
• Monitor regulatory, contractual, and ethical standards (CASOMB, BBS/BOP, ATSA).
• Conduct audits and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Provide board-level clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed/unlicensed staff and trainees.
