Job summary

Archway Management is seeking a Regional Director of Operations (CDM) to oversee regional food service and nutrition operations across multiple assisted living and healthcare facilities. You will mentor teams and guide dining excellence, with direct supervision of facility Food Service Directors and CDM credentials.

The role requires a high school diploma, Certified Dietary Manager, and multi-site dietary operations experience, with willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and apply all company and facility policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of service at the lowest cost.
• Work with Corporate and onsite dietitians to ensure federal and state requirements are met.
• Cultivate and maintain business partnerships with clients by understanding needs and expectations.
• Establish and maintain internal QA/assessment processes, including inspections and client surveys.
• Participate in food service committees or events to demonstrate teamwork and client focus.
• Plan and develop unit budgets and financial objectives; review results weekly/monthly and adjust.
• Create weekly plans for sales, menus, production, inventory, and labor productivity.
• Educate FSDs on P&L and review month-end results with each facility.
• Ensure accounting practices and timelines are followed.
• Assist with new bids, rebids, and development of new programs; renegotiate terms when needed.
• Manage transitions of new business accounts.
• Conduct audits and evaluate performance in production, menus, sanitation, purchasing, staffing, safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HR and safety policies; ensure compliance.
• Hold Food Service Directors accountable and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct training needs assessments and arrange training for FSDs and staff.
• Support FSDs in setting goals and monitor progress; engage in ongoing development.
• Ensure company systems are followed and daily operations stay compliant.
