Job summary

Archway Management is seeking a Regional Director of Operations (CDM) to lead regional food service and nutrition operations across healthcare facilities. You will mentor Food Service Directors, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements while driving dining excellence.

The ideal candidate has multi-site healthcare dietary experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel regularly within the region.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Certified Dietary Manager certification is required.
• Multi-site dietary operations experience is required.
• Ability to travel within the region frequently is required.
• 2–5 years’ experience coordinating food service operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams.
• Strong initiative.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Experience operating basic office equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities with leadership in operations, finances, HR and client relations.
• Work with dietitians to meet federal and state requirements.
• Build and maintain client partnerships and understand customer needs.
• Establish QA and assessment processes in each facility, incl. surveys.
• Participate in food service committees and attend events.
• Plan unit budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Review month-end results with Food Service Directors and manage P&L where applicable.
• Negotiate terms with clients and help develop new programs.
• Conduct audits of facilities covering operations, sanitation, purchasing and HR.
