Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Regional Floating Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation professionals in Alaska. You will provide pre-hospital and in-transit ALS care, document care and ensure safety protocols, while participating in mission briefings and debriefings.

The role requires a minimum of three years as a licensed Paramedic (911/critical care) and active EMT-P licensure in the area, with flight certifications and continued education expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a licensed Paramedic in 911 or critical care.
• Active EMT-P license in states served by the area.
• Flight certifications and ongoing training required.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from contact to handoff with documentation.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures records.
• Operate equipment and supplies used by emergency programs and liaison with teams.
