Guardian Flight, LLC in Ketchikan, AK is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients and perform scene call work. You will join a professional team focused on high safety standards and quality patient care.

The role requires 3+ years as a Paramedic with EMT-P certification in the served states, FP-C within 24 months, and ongoing certification. A base is provided with a 10 days on / 20 days off rotation and company-paid crew housing during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic required.
• EMT-P license/certification in states served is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency via ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
• Know equipment and supplies used by emergency programs and maintain readiness.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS reps, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff and pilot support as needed (radio, navigation, visual observation).
• Comply with safety standards to ensure safety of self, crew, patient, and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open shifts within assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
