Job summary

Guardian Flight is seeking a Regional Floating Flight Paramedic to join our air transport team in Anchorage, AK. You will transport patients to and from medical facilities and participate in scene call work, upholding high safety standards for crew and patients.

The role requires at least 3 years of 911/critical care paramedic experience, EMT-P certification, and ongoing certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP). FP-C within 24 months and instructor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for dispatched flights on time.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Collaborate with EMS colleagues, hospitals, and the public.
