Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patients\' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while upholding nursing standards and the organization\'s mission. You\'ll promote patient safety and outcomes through the nursing process in a mission-driven environment.

The role requires an RN license, 2 years of RN experience, and BLS certification, with potential to float within the Enterprise Resource Pool across multiple units and facilities

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in relevant specialty.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient’s response and implement plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts; document status, interventions, and outcomes; support decisionmaking with IT tools.
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess teaching effectiveness.
