Job summary

Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool in Colorado Springs invites an RN to join a mission-driven team. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care under the nursing process.

You will participate in enterprise-wide float pools with varied units, earn shift differentials, and support multiple facilities within the region. A strong nursing background and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Two (2) years RN experience.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, patient response and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness, needs, and teaching effectiveness.
