Plan A Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Regional Float Pool, providing individualized care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities in the East Region.

The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while floats between hospitals and units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, and Oncology. This role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and growth in diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum one year recent bedside LPN experience; two years for specialty units.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification as applicable.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Floats between designated hospitals, working in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more.
• They build clinical assessment and communication skills, collaborate with various teams, and adapt to different patient populations.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, float across units, and serve multiple facilities including hospitals in the region.
