Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Regional Float Pool in the East Region. The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients while floating among Mercy facilities in the St.

Louis region for a night shift schedule. Ideal candidates hold an accredited practical nursing diploma, an active LPN license in Missouri, and IV certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• One year of bedside LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for other specialties.
• IV certification required; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adults/geriatric patients.
• Float between Mercy facilities in the East Region as Regional Float Pool LPN.
• Provide care during Night shifts as a full-time LPN.
