Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) to support 12 hospitals across Missouri and Illinois. You will work three 12-hour night shifts with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule, floating across facilities to deliver ED care with a focus on patient safety and teamwork.

Requires 2+ years ED experience, Missouri RN license, ability to obtain Illinois license, TNCC, and willingness to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience (required).
• Previous trauma and float experience preferred.
• Current Missouri RN license + ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.
• Strong adaptability in variable clinical environments.
• TNCC certification.
• Initial 1st week will be a 5 day full-time training commitment to support your success.

Responsibilities

• Float to 12 BJC hospitals within MO & IL and provide direct patient care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Promote patient safety and quality through evidence-based nursing practice.
