Job summary

BJC HealthCare's Central Staffing Office is seeking a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Assignment. You will provide patient-centered care across 11 hospitals in MO and IL, working in the ED with 12-hour night shifts and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

This role emphasizes stability within assignments, travel between facilities, and integration into new teams while maintaining system-wide exposure and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience (required).
• Ability to obtain Illinois RN license in addition to Missouri license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on med/surg, telemetry, and ED units as assigned.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Serve as mentor and role model to nursing staff and students.
