Job summary

BJC HealthCare’s Central Staffing Office is seeking a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care across 12 facilities in MO and IL. You’ll cover ED patients during three 12-hour night shifts with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule, and you’ll travel between hospitals as needed.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in ED nursing, Missouri RN license with IL eligibility, TNCC, and a willingness to travel within the system. Training and formal onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience (required).
• Previous trauma and float experience preferred.
• Current Missouri RN license + ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.
• ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
• TNCC certification.
• Initial 1st week will be a 5 day full-time training commitment to support your success.

Responsibilities

• Float to 12 BJC hospitals within MO & IL; provide ED nursing care.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Promote patient safety and participate in ongoing professional development.
