Job summary

UCNT is seeking a Regional Float Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple UCNT urology clinics in the DFW region. The ideal candidate must be flexible and fully cross-trained to quickly adapt to each clinic's layout and provider preferences.

The role involves traveling between clinics, managing patient flow, assisting with exams and procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in the patient’s EHR.

Qualifications

• Flexible, cross-trained CMA capable of working across multiple clinics.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Ability to manage patient flow and assist providers.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and work at assigned UCNT clinics within the region.
• Be punctual and confirm the provider being supported each day.
• Adapt to different clinic layouts and workflows while following procedures.
• Perform specimen collection, vital signs, urinalysis, injections and blood draws.
• Document all patient interactions and orders in the EHR.
• Schedule surgeries and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Maintain OSHA and CLIA compliance; stock exam rooms and supplies.
