Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Regional Float Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across UCNT urology clinics in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. The ideal candidate is flexible, cross-trained, and capable of quickly adapting to each clinic's layout and provider preferences.

You will travel between clinics, assist with exams and procedures, perform tests, document in the EHR, and ensure smooth patient flow while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with accredited MA program.
• Active CCMA certification and BLS/CPR certification.
• Prior CMA experience, preferably in urology or specialty clinics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to clinic variations.
• Proficiency with EMR/PM and document management systems; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and work at assigned UCNT clinics within the region.
• Open clinics, prepare workstations and maintain patient flow.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures; perform tests as assigned.
• Collect specimens, vital signs, urinalysis, and catheterization.
• Maintain sterilization and instrument cleaning; manage lab specimens per policy.
• Document calls, prescriptions, and patient communications in the EHR.
• Schedule surgeries and obtain prior authorizations; prepare letters of medical necessity.
• Complete OSHA logs and maintain CLIA and OSHA standards.
• Stock supplies and manage exam rooms daily.
