Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Regional Fleet Compliance and Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance for the regional transportation fleet in Salisbury, MD. You will manage safety programs, investigations, and regulatory adherence while partnering with fleet operations and Corporate Safety to drive risk reduction.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced transportation environment with opportunities for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Transportation Management, Logistics Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of occupational safety, transportation safety, fleet safety, or EHS experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience investigating workplace injuries and commercial vehicle accidents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transportation safety programs and initiatives.
• Develop strategies with Fleet Director to reduce crashes and injuries.
• Promote a safety culture with accountability and hazard recognition.
• Establish regional safety goals, metrics, and improvement plans.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and driver observations.
