Job summary

Gate Gourmet is seeking an experienced Regional Garage Maintenance Supervisor to lead fleet maintenance operations across the designated region. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective vehicle upkeep, coordinate with unit transportation departments, and supervise mechanics and vendors to deliver high-quality repairs.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, manage inventories and parts procurement, review work quality, and secure regulatory compliance while driving cost

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Vehicle/GSE school degree.
• Additional degrees/experience are a plus.
• 5 years of experience supervising fleet operations, maintenance, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with regional units and their transportation departments.
• Evaluate fleets and report maintenance problems to management.
• Actively supervise and train truck mechanics and assist in emergencies.
• Oversee major stock orders and assist with regular parts ordering.
• Identify spare vehicles and coordinate efficient usage.
• Develop training programs for mechanics using vendor materials.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safe working conditions.
• Review quality of work by outside vendors and manage cost-effective repairs.
