Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced flatbed drivers for regional routes with home weekends. Competitive pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,600 per week, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified experienced drivers. Regional time at home on weekends is standard, with operations involving 5 days out and 2 days home.

DOT compliance and background checks are required. Load securement involves tarping and strapping, plus thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Trailers: flatbed experience required.
• Trainees must have 1 year of OTR or Regional experience.
• Drivers must have minimum 6 months flatbed experience and 1 year of OTR or Regional experience.
• Minimum age 22.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down loads.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
