Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced flatbed drivers for regional routes. Trainees require 1 year OTR/Regional; minimum 6 months flatbed plus 1 year OTR/Regional for others. Expect weekly pay of $1,400–$1,600 and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Home time is regional with weekends; drivers conduct tarping, strapping, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and deliver freight on time while complying with DOT regulations. Must be 22+ with clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 22.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Trainees: 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience.
• Experience: minimum 6 months flatbed and 1 year OTR/Regional.
• Moving violations: no more than 3 in the last 3 years.
• Accidents: no more than one at fault; recent at-fault rollover in the past year.
• DUI/DWI: none in the past 3–5 years depending on status; conviction date governs.

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down loads.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver freight on time.
