Job summary

The Area Install Manager at The Hiller Companies, LLC oversees installation projects across the region, guiding teams to complete work on time and within budget. The role includes strategic planning, financial oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance for a broad portfolio of fire protection services.

Lead the design, scheduling, and delivery of installations, while partnering with service teams to ensure seamless turnovers and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
• 10 years of fire protection experience with leadership, ideally multi-site.
• NICET III or higher certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and standards.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and strong problem-solving.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction operations, strategy, margins, and project delivery.
• Forecast costs, profits, and financial performance of projects.
• Lead design, scheduling, planning, and field execution.
• Ensure compliance with tollgates and criteria for all projects.
• Collaborate with service department for smooth project turnovers.
• Conduct regular business reviews and action plans.
• Review KPIs for sales, design, field installation, and admin.
• Plan staffing and manage subcontractors and vendors.
