Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of the fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials.
• Oversee installation, service and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and related equipment.
• Direct and delegate tasks to technicians to meet deadlines and goals.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Complete paperwork electronically or on paper as required by the office and management systems.
• Ensure equipment is installed in technical compliance with manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate testing of the systems.
• Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in service and installation basics.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and direct daily tasks/productivity of staff.
• Maintain open communication with the customer via email or phone and provide information as required.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain equipment care and maintenance.
