Job summary

GHD seeks a Finance Manager to lead the Region's financial and commercial performance, reporting to the Americas CFO. The role involves driving cash flow, invoicing, budgeting, and KPI oversight, partnering with Project Managers and senior leaders across the Americas.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in accounting/finance, CPA or MBA, and strong communication and analytical skills to influence decisions and deliver sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 15+ years of accounting/business operations experience.
• CPA designation or MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience and success in a finance leadership role with strong finance analytics.
• Commercially minded with the ability to challenge and influence.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills to convey financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and commercial leadership to Region leadership, Business Group Leads, and Project Managers.
• Monitor working capital and drive timely invoicing and debt collection with the Collections Team.
• Prepare annual Region budgets, KPI targets, and reforecasts in partnership with the business.
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and improve project financial performance.
• Support year-end audits and revenue recognition processes.
• Lead and develop the Finance team to partner with stakeholders and deliver value.
