Job Description

Terracon's Eastern Midwest East Region is growing, and we are thrilled to share an exciting career opportunity. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Finance Coordinator. This position will provide essential support to our offices in Louisville, KY; Lexington, KY; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Akron, OH; Charleston, WV; and Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate can be based out of any of these locations, offering flexibility and convenience.

As a Regional Finance Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely project registration, billing, collection, and procurement practices for an engineering consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project registration, billing, collection, and procurement practices.
  • Prepare timely and accurate billing for projects, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, standards, and deadlines.
  • Manage project setup, review, and maintenance, including new project registration and budget management.
  • Create and maintain electronic project files related to financial documentation.
  • Maintain billing schedules, initiate billing, and ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Perform collections efforts, including follow-up on overdue invoices.
  • Handle procurement activities such as creating requisitions, reviewing invoices, and managing supplier onboarding.
  • Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
