Job summary

DN is seeking a Regional Operations Controller to oversee daily accounting, financial and administrative activities for the region. You’ll partner with regional leaders to track results, manage budgets and forecasts, analyze costs, and ensure accurate reporting for efficient regional operations.

You will lead the regional accounting team, hire and develop staff, and ensure timely draw requests and project receivable collection while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge of construction industry accounting rules and regulations, ERP systems experience (ViewPoint/Spectrum preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports (e.g., WIP Schedule, P&L backlog, regional SG&A, cash flow).
• Lead monthly financial reviews with VP of Construction and senior leaders.
• Supervise vendor/subcontractor invoice processing and ensure contract compliance.
