Job summary

Stellar Health Group in Massachusetts is seeking a Regional Business Office Director to oversee financial, billing, and revenue cycle operations for the facility. You will ensure accurate resident billing, timely reimbursement, and compliance with CMS, Medicaid, HIPAA.

Lead the business office team, manage A/R and A/P, collaborate with MDS and nursing, and drive process improvements while delivering high-quality financial reporting to administration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years billing or business office experience (SNF/LTC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care and PDPM.
• Experience with EHR/billing systems such as MatrixCare or PCC.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High school diploma; associate/bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Billing & reimbursement: maintain accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay.
• Accounts receivable & collections: monitor aging, follow up on balances, and establish payment plans.
• Admissions & financial counseling: assist with screenings, explain payer sources, and Medicaid applications.
• Accounts payable & cash management: review invoices, manage petty cash, and reconcile trust funds.
• Compliance & regulatory: ensure CMS/Medicaid/HIPAA compliance and audits preparation.
• Leadership & communication: supervise staff and provide financial reporting to administration.
