Job summary
Federal Signal Corporation is seeking a Regional Service Technician based in the Los Angeles area to support the Southwest region, including Nevada and Hawaii. The role involves installations, troubleshooting customer issues, and providing technical support and training to customers, distributors, and service centers.
The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electronics or related experience, with 5+ years in service roles, strong product knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in electronics technology.
- 5+ years in a service-related field.
- Good knowledge of assigned products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide full line technical support to customers, distributors, service centers, sales force, and support.
- Perform product repairs, installations and root-cause analysis.
- Create RMAs and place parts orders; document issues in systems.
- Conduct training seminars for customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and Production to resolve failures.
