Job summary

Intralox, a division of Laitram, L.L.C., seeks a SERVICE+ Technician to support conveyors in Minnesota and Wisconsin, centered in Rochester. The role requires a strong mechanical background, proactive field service, and clear communication with maintenance and account managers.

The position entails regional travel (about 70%, up to 168 days yearly), performing installations, troubleshooting, training customers onsite, and delivering detailed reports. Professionalism and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus.
• Minimum two years in manufacturing, mechanical or agricultural roles.
• Strong mechanical background with experience in processing or conveying equipment.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage visits from start to finish with little supervision.
• Willingness to travel regionally across North America, including Canada.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote low-tension polymer conveyor belt applications.
• Communicate effectively with account managers and customers.
• Coordinate and perform belt installations at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot installations and field applications.
• Develop opportunities and communicate recommendations.
• Provide technical training and reports to salespeople and customers.
• Inspect conveyors and gather detailed information for improvements.
• Arrange and execute travel on short notice; nights and weekends as needed.
• Maintain service van and equipment in good condition.
• Travel within North America; occasional air travel may be required.
