Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical direction and support for operation and maintenance of company products in a defined Northern NJ/Long Island NY Rye NY territory. Starting pay ranges from $29 to $35 per hour with final determinations based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, training, troubleshooting, and coordinating with sales/QA/R&D as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English; able to read, write, and speak effectively.
• Electrical training/experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in electro-mechanical field service or troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to travel and work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance per published procedures.
• Keep performance and maintenance records.
• Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance procedures.
• Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective action.
• Advise on design changes to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• May participate in installation planning.
• Maintain good customer relations through effective communication.
• Manage assets including vehicle, inventory, tools.
