Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks Territory Sales Managers to expand the SCAG/Bluebird dealer network across Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.

You will build relationships with outdoor power equipment dealers and drive dealer development, product demonstrations, and annual sales goals. The role requires strong outside sales experience, excellent communication, and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70% on the road, 30% in the home office).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of external sales experience, preferably outdoor power equipment rental, wholesale or retail.
• Great communication and follow through are necessary.
• MS Office proficiency: Excel, Word, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand all selling and marketing programs to meet annual goals and objectives.
• Communicate the uniqueness and value of our product lines to dealers.
• Be an active part of our customers' businesses – on-site calls should represent the majority of a Territory Sales Manager's time.
• Help and direct dealers to devote maximum effort and resources to our products.
• Know your competition (pricing, practices and products).
• Perform product demonstrations as needed.
• Proactively help dealers manage, control and resolve problems (sales, operations, business finances).
• Train dealers on features & benefits of Bluebird, Scag and Versatran products.
• Monitor rental location's inventory and suggest action.
• Represent dealers to the company and vice versa.
