Job summary

Midco seeks a Regional Construction Project Manager to lead planning and execution of network construction projects, including new builds, upgrades, and infrastructure designs. You will ensure projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget while supporting cross-functional teams, engaging with stakeholders, and upholding Midco's mission, vision, values, and safety standards.

The role requires field leadership across the Midwest, coordinating permits, materials, and vendor contracts

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in either construction or broadband with exposure to project development and leadership.
• Must complete Construction First Time (FTR) certification within 60 days of hire and apply principles consistently.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and meet DOT requirements for the state(s) of operation; a DUI within past 5 years disqualifies.
• Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state/local regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage construction projects by following company and departmental strategies, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Actively manage construction projects to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and on-budget performance.
• Plan and execute projects with diagrams, documentation, reporting, and support.
• Allocate resources to maintain project schedules according to plan.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance for each project.
• Maintain up-to-date fiber maps, diagrams, specs, and related documentation.
• Prepare as-builts accurately and timely.
• Create Purchase Orders and Change Orders to contractors.
• Ensure projects close timely and materials are returned to Materials Management.
• Create BOMs and coordinate materials needs with Materials Management.
• Engage with state/county/city/township/railroad entities for permits and meetings.
• Obtain bids and negotiate costs with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure budget goals are met or exceeded; participate in budgeting processes.
• Demonstrate adherence to Midco's safety program and policies.
