Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide technical, hands-on expertise across the automation, control and networking portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will collaborate with regional sales teams, engineers and account teams to expand market penetration and support customer opportunities.

The role requires regional coverage for the Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Eastern Tennessee market, with travel and field engagement to drive revenue and

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree; technical discipline preferred.
• At least 3 years of sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsabilités

• Increase annual sales revenue across automation, control, and networking products.
• Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team using trainings and mutual action plans.
• Act as the local technical representative for the products and support the sales team on technical matters.
• Develop sales tools, collateral and drive campaigns.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and use CRM for reporting and tracking.
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Phoenix Contact products and solutions.
• Travel as required to support territory.
