Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and emergency maintenance across multiple facilities in the region. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and coordinate with contractors as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

You will document activities in our CMMS, inspect facilities for safety and efficiency, and collaborate with facility managers to minimize downtime while complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance technician experience across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and facility maintenance.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and CMMS software.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities in the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing system failures at various facilities.
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular inspections of building and grounds systems and report findings to the Maintenance Manager.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and restore operations quickly.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and maintain service history.
