Job summary

MVI Field Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance across sites. You will log tasks in our proprietary software and support the Facilities Manager with ongoing projects. Applicants need 3+ years of experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to work nights or weekends if required.

Qualifications

3+ years of verifiable Maintenance/Repair Technician experience or vocational/technical school graduate.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment and tools.
Hands-on with power tools; capable of preventative maintenance.
On-call availability, including nights or weekends when needed.
Valid driver’s license with clean record; carwash equipment repair is a plus.
Able to work indoors/outdoors and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

Use MVI proprietary software to create service tickets and perform inspections.
Support management on facility projects and cleaning, maintenance tasks, and inspections.
Inspect Eye Wash Stations, Fire Extinguishers, Cabinets and plumbing systems regularly.
Perform monthly facility inspections and record results in the system.
Assist with painting, sealing, caulking, and general repairs around the site.
Operate lifts, perform high dusting, and handle routine preventive maintenance.
