Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. seeks a Regional Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and routine maintenance on building and grounds equipment at multiple facilities within a designated region. You will diagnose, repair, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations and minimal downtime.

You will document all activities in CMMS, support regional facilities managers, and respond to emergencies as needed, providing timely updates and work planning.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.
• 5+ years in maintenance technician role across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of building systems and facility maintenance basics.
• Proficient with CMMS and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on facility equipment across multiple sites.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing failures.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure safe, compliant work.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS and service history.
• Respond to emergencies and work overtime as needed.
• Communicate status and updates to Maintenance Manager.
