A manufacturing company in Columbus is seeking a skilled Machine & Building Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues in machine and building systems, including electrical and plumbing. This role offers autonomy with diverse responsibilities in a stable environment. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine and building maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer-capable for vendor and service coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of machinery.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to air, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Support ongoing machine reliability and uptime.
• Handle general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Communicate with vendors and service technicians.
