Whataburger is seeking a Regional Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our Lubbock-area region, ensuring safe, reliable restaurant facilities for our Team Members and Guests. You will develop maintenance professionals, oversee capital improvements, and drive strategies that strengthen restaurant performance and support growth.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with brand leaders and vendors, and travel within your region to deliver on initiatives—while working

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of multi-site facilities, restaurant, or hospitality experience.
• Experience leading maintenance technicians or field teams.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, capital planning.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations across restaurants to ensure safety and reliability.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage capital projects from planning to completion.
• Partner with Brand Leaders to align initiatives with goals.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures for fiscal accountability.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Hire and develop maintenance staff across the region.
• Ensure timely inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Real Estate, and partners to deliver initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and restaurant performance.
