Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple properties within a designated region. You will work with maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient performance and lead audits, preventive maintenance, and capital planning.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, coordinating with vendors, and building strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management.
• Valid Driver’s License. FMP or CFM Preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CMMS, Smartsheet, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage Work Orders & Emergency Response: Oversee WO statuses and backlogs, respond to emergencies within 4 hours (including 24/7 on-call availability).
• Direct Vendor & Financial Management: Oversee vendor relationships and scope, manage quotes and budgets.
• Cultivate Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Build trusting relationships with stakeholders and handle escalations.
• Conduct Portfolio Asset Management & Site Assessments: Perform site assessments, manage preventive maintenance, and maintain asset inventory.
• Maintain Operational Organization & Strategic Planning: Organize emails, approvals, and quotes; oversee holistic building operations.
