Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across multiple locations within your region. You will coach technicians, partner with store leaders and drive reliability with data-driven maintenance strategies.

Requires a current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA Certification and 3–5 years in facilities management, with strong leadership and customer-service skills. Travel ~50% locally.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and develop others
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
