Job summary

WKS Restaurant Group is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to lead a team of in‑house technicians and coordinate with third‑party vendors across 80‑100 restaurant facilities in the assigned region. The role emphasizes safety, uptime, and cost‑effective maintenance.

You will partner with store operations and other departments to meet company objectives, develop maintenance programs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years facilities mgmt experience.
• 8+ years in facilities management may substitute for degree.
• Restaurant experience preferred; strong operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all facilities, including equipment and building systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff, external contractors, and store operations teams to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance.
• Develop and manage annual facilities budgets, including forecasting and cost control for operating and capital expenditures.
• Identify opportunities for change and support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are implemented and enforced to maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
• Assist in developing and implementing company sustainability initiatives.
• Recruit, train and manage facilities personnel and engage third-party vendors to achieve results.
• Negotiate contracts, review service agreements, and monitor vendor performance.
• Respond to inquiries from store operations and other departments and present reports on facility matters.
