Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in the United States is seeking an Area Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations and capital projects within the assigned region. You will partner with RVPs, Site Managers, and facilities staff to maintain safety, compliance, and asset reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities/construction/maintenance leadership, SAP experience, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities management, construction, maintenance, or related field.
• Experience managing multiple projects across geographically dispersed locations.
• Experience obtaining bids, negotiating vendor agreements, and managing capital projects.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP project tracking, Purchase Orders, and Maintenance Orders.
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital improvement and maintenance projects across regions.
• Develop scopes, obtain quotes, and manage budgets and schedules.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and facility assessments.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for building systems and upgrades.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic facility planning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
