Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking an Area Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations, preventative maintenance, and capital projects across the assigned territory. You will partner with regional teams and leaders to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal asset performance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, and coordinating with operations to minimize disruption while delivering capital improvements valued at substantial scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities/maintenance/project management.
• Experience managing multiple projects across regions.
• Experience obtaining bids and negotiating vendor agreements.
• SAP knowledge is a plus (project tracking, POs, MOs).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility capital improvement projects across regions.
• Develop project scopes, obtain vendor quotes, and negotiate terms.
• Oversee projects from planning to closeout to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with operations leadership to avoid business disruption.
• Track budgets and report spending using SAP.
• Provide support for maintenance and rental properties in territory.
