Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a high-quality client experience and consistent execution across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive operational readiness, and align staffing, facilities, and processes to meet business goals. You will lead and develop teams, coach to performance, and own revenue and client outcomes while traveling frequently to maintain presence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or ops environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, staffing, scheduling, compliance.
• Prepare for seasonal demand and staff readiness.
