H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong business results across locations.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and maintain office readiness while traveling between offices as needed to lead in person. This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Ability to drive business results while managing daily operations across locations.
• Experience leading through change and new process adoption.
• Independent judgment to prioritize across multiple locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handle escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, outcomes, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps; build bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations including staffing, scheduling, labor, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
