Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an experienced Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive performance and revenue across locations.

You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, manage staffing, facilities, and compliance, and travel between offices to maintain a strong in-person presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams.
• Experience in retail/service/operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations including staffing.
• Experience change management and process adoption.
• Ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations; reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and real-time feedback to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results, acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and scheduling, labor management, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
