Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience. You will set expectations for consultative service, operational excellence, and team performance across locations.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, ensuring readiness, staffing, compliance, and effective execution. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive client outcomes and business results across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with coaching and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize across multiple locations.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Ability to travel frequently in-day between assigned offices; minimal overnight.
• Ability to work a schedule aligning with operational hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive improvement.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee facilities, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
