Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality consultative client experience across every location. You will set expectations for service, execution and business results while ensuring readiness and compliance.

As a visible, hands-on leader, you’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive performance, adapt processes, and align staffing and operations to growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams.
• Experience in operations and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance.
• Own revenue, growth, and operations across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify trends.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs.
